Jesus is near us

Two questions we can asked ourselves daily for us to keep our eyes on Jesus;
1. Do you believe Jesus is near you at all times?
2-What level should we Love him?

Many times King David asked the Lord to be his refuge, and he received protection from the Lord during all his trials, wars, and persecutions. Even asked the Lord to keep him as an apple in the Lord’s eyes. (Psalm 17:8). The Lord said that David was a man after his own heart, first you find it in 1 Samuel 13:14, you can also read it in Acts 13:22 for the explanation of why; “…He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ The Lord made clear that David would do ALL HIS WILL! For us to do so, we most love him at the same measure he love us. Peter wrote that we should love earnestly. (1Peter 4:8). Peter is encouraging us to love at that level. The word earnestly means in Greek; highest level of intensity or without ceasing, continuously, constantly. Peter experienced many times over when Jesus showed mercy over him, even when he denied him at the most crucial moment when Jesus need him while being beaten by the guards of the religious leaders. The answers are simple continue to ask Jesus through prayers and supplications, and Love to the level of the Cross. Jesus still asks us to do his father’s will and the condition is, are we willing? Are you? God bless!
PS: Yes! He is near us all the time, he promised to never forsake us. He love us so earnestly that he went to the cross when he didn’t have too. Amén!
