Focus on Jesus

One of the Biggest Mistake a Pastor can make is to think he can treat all believers the same or the believers believe they are the one. Peter question Jesus’ love for John and Jesus told Peter was not his business to worry about it. Jesus loves all, but had different level of responsibility for his disciples;
“Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man?” Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.” John 21:21‭-‬22.

The Pastor mission are many, but the most important is to preach about Jesus. Making believers feel love and satisfied about their faith it’s his priority, but not by softening the gospel. Every believer will be given the same level of time and teaching to be prepared for when their names is called. Believe that every believer should get the same development opportunities is unrealistic and destructive, since everyone have different gifts or calling. Pastor provide opportunities, resources, and teachings to build a strong and prepared congregation while developing the individual for a spiritual battle. All believers should take all opportunities given to increased their knowledge and understanding of the Gospel. Jesus told Peter not to worry about John, but for Peter to follow Jesus. The other disciples came to the wrong conclusion by ears dropping in the conversation between Jesus and Peter, “Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?” John 21:23.

Only follow Jesus!Remaining focus and keeping the eyes on Jesus we won’t compete among us, but doing his will. Preach the Gospel, make disciples, and baptized them in name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Amén! God bless!
